This wine delivers everything you’ve come to expect from the cowboy but ups the ante with even more swagger. Cherry pie aromas mingle with dark chocolate, cinnamon spice, rugged earthiness, and the comforting scent of your favorite well-worn leather jacket. You’ll keep reaching back for this cowboy’s full-bodied, mouth-filling cherry and stewed berry flavors with structured tannins and an unforgettable finish.

Winemaking Notes

The grapes for this wine all came in big and bold in 2021. We did a 100% whole berry fermentation for 14 days to lift the chocolate out of the Tempranillo and the spice out of the Zinfandel. The touch of Petite Sirah gives a subtle coffee cake flavored full and round finish.

Aging

Aged for 15 months in 80% New Medium plus long toast American Oak and 20% neutral oak.
